Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica basket in the form of a tree with two bird''s nests and eggs. Exterior is decorated with green leaves on brown bark ground. Pale pink interior. Ochre glaze to underside with three stilt marks. Similar piece illustrated p.10 ''The Collector''s Encyclopedia of MAJOLICA'' Collector Books, by Mariann Katz-Marks. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Minor flaking to rim at one end. Kiln effect: stained crazing to interior. 8ins high, 9.5ins wide
