This is a magnificent antique pendant light fixture, circa 1910, with its original milk glass shade. Made of finely cast pewter with its original gilded finish, the chandelier features an unusual 8†fitter. The fitter is beautifully ornamented with foliate detail and a volute pattern, and the fluted shade features an elegant egg-and-dart pattern. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shade is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rim. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is 18†wide, the length of the pendant body only is approx. 17â€, and the overall length is approx. 44â€.
