This is a fabulous antique brass Victorian four-light chandelier, dating from the 19th Century, with wheel-cut shades. The chandelier comes down in a pole that intersects a beaded brass orb and continues down to a second orb. Below, the chandelier body features intricate palmettes with volutes and beaded borders. The arms are ornamented with volutes and acanthus leaves, and the chandelier finishes in a fantastically detailed appliqué with a finial in the center. The hand-cut shades feature a starburst design and a scalloped border. This light fixture is in good antique condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 18†wide and 16 ½†tall (to the top of the lower orb), and the overall length is 34 ½â€.
