This is a magnificent antique oak Gothic Revival pulpit, dating from the 19th Century. The front of the pulpit features a pair of Ionic columns, connected by a railing of Gothic arches with a fleur-de-lis border that runs across the front and sides of the piece. The two columns are connected by a large Gothic arch adorned with intricately carved acanthus leaves. A pattern of quatrefoils runs around the base of the pulpit. This pulpit is in very good antique condition, and it would make a wonderful balcony. It measures 50†wide, 49†tall, and approx. 43 ½†deep overall.
