A superb Black Forest carved walnut cuckoo clock from the 19th Century. This wonderful German handmade clock is in excellent overall condition, c. 1870, featuring extensively carved detail. Black Forest is known for the realistic craftsmanship of every element, and this clock is no different. Completely made of wood, except for the deer's eyes, every inch has been carefully constructed. With pine cone iron weights and a Roman Numeral dial. A beautiful and rare character piece worthy of any collection or decor. Measures 23wX34h, in splendid overall condition.
