This is a large and highly ornate kerosene lamp which has been converted to electrical use. The lamp body, font and all decorative pieces are solid brass. The cast ormolu parts of the lamp are gilt finished. The cased, green/white glass shade features an equally ornate design in gold tracery. The lamp stands (with shade in place) is 29 1/2"H, 10"W (shade diameter). It is sure to be a focal point in Victorian/Edwardian decorated home.
