A wonderful large Chancay Cuchimilco female figure. Hollowed ceramic earthenware. Usually found in tombs of the nobility to ward off bad spirits. Stands at 50.2 cm, 20 inches tall. Huaral province, Lima region, Peru. 1200 -1470 AD. Completely intact. Minor loss to tip of nose. No structural repairs. Minimal touch-up.
