A very attractive ancient bronze Persian decorated long spear-head from Bronze Age Persia, dating to around 1200 -800 BC
Measurements: Length: 39.5 cm - Width: 4.5 cm
Short swords or spear-heads such as this would have been used by the Persians in their battles with the Greeks, in their aspiration to gain control of the Middle-East.
Condition: Excellent archaeological condition, intact not repaired and not restored as found
This fantastic weapon has survived intact and untouched. It is aerodynamic, and enjoys a gorgeous green crystalized patina and age related encrustation
