This is an interesting item, the tongs are a souvenir of St. Peters in Rome, Italy. The papal tiara, crossed keys
and angel are symbols of the pope.
Hallmarked sterling 4 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. These were made to honor the Pope in Italy as a souvenir of your visit there. A great piece to use as sugar tongs at a Tea Party.
