20thC, date cipher for October 1929 Wedgwood Majolica grape and strawberry plate with green and brown strawberry leaves, blue flowers and pink strawberries, and green grapes on pale ochre ground. Brown twig molded rim. Ochre reverse with three stilt marks. Impressed maker''s marks inside the foot ''WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND'' and date cipher ''10U29'' for October 1929. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No flakes. Slight wear to the front. Restored rim chip. 9ins diameter
