Victorian, circa 1860 Pair Staffordshire figures of the Royal children, each standing before an oversized sheep. The sheep have granulated clay coats and one hind leg molded free. Harding. Fair. Some rubbing to gilt. Boy: Flake to reverse of hat. Very minor paint loss to kilt. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to underside; crazing and craze lines to reverse. Repair to neck. Repair along the mold join over the sheep''s back, down its tail and front. Retouching to scarf. Old restoration to underside and base at reverse.
