Nippon Tea Set. Gold leaf; orange; green; brown; blue black; violet; yellow. Ceramic. The set includes covered teapot, covered sugar, creamer, four cups and six saucers. The hand-painted set has two water scenes, one with two swimming swans. The rest of the piece is heavily decorated with flowers and other designs outlined in gold leaf. The bottom is marked in green with Hand Painted over an M inside an open wreath of leaves and Nippon beneath.
