circa: 1890 width: 43 height: 51 length: 21 This beautiful antique Scottish mahogany dresser was created around 1890 in Victorian England. The mahogany looks wonderful, with a well-developed patina, dark color, and rich grain. This dresser has 4 graduated long drawers w/ the top drawer being one that is unique to Scottish chests. The drawer boasts humble knob handles with wooden threads running through the back and hand-crafted dovetailed joints in the front and rear. The bottom drawer is about 14.5 inches deep. Bun feet provide sturdy support so there is no need to worry about stability. There are slight veneer bubbles on either side; minor interior repairs on the drawers and slight imperfections on the top and back (see pictures). The combination of practical Scottish design and beautiful Victorian taste makes this antique dresser a fine candidate for any home!
