circa: 1960 width: 29 height: 48 length: 16.5 Jacobean oak cocktail cabinet that was made in England around 1960. This spectacular piece features linenfold carving on the face, interior mirrors, and a removable glass shelf. The top section opens and closes very easily and has plenty of storage space. The drawer in the middle has a center divider and is dovetailed, a sign of high quality craftsmanship. The cabinet at the bottom has a removable wooden shelf and offers plenty more hidden storage. The hardware and hinges tie in perfectly with the carvings on the front of the piece. There is a light in the top that will need to be rewired to work in US circuits. The cabinet is in very good condition, displaying only wear that is consistent with age in the form of minute marks. The mirror has some minor spotting and the juicer that would have been stored in the top is no longer there. Otherwise, this piece is in great shape and very sturdy.
